Several Grass Fires Of all 26 calls in 1964 sev- eral were mM1 graz fires, most of which were caused by children playing with matches. Most of the other o.f the largest in the state, re- parts a total of 407 men re- sponding to fire calls d:uring the past ycar; a total of 1052 man hours, approximately 2.6 hours per man per fire. Fire trucks were used for a total of 506 hou,rs, zI1 average of about t.9 equipment hours per fire. Six Deaths Occurred ' hi 1964 the department was called or on standby at the see.haS in which theye were six deaths, two each by drown- i ng and in car accidents, one death by burning and one he,art attack.
