Cbeney old Emers will be sor- ry to learn of the passings of Mists Lula Nie{son, 80, at a = Cardston, Atberta, hospital i last Friday. She had been iH only a sh0rt time. Services were conducted at the Alberta Stake (Mormon) chpel at Cardstan ,and bmria was in Mountain View cemetery. t'rn at Fa:nwiew, Utah, she moved to ardston in 1907. She worked on the Left, bridge, Alia., Herald 1as well as @ping practical nursing. In 1914 she lmr0hased the movie theater at Cardston and operated 'it for 10 years before selin out. She then bought the Rosa movie house and in 1929 came to Che- ney to operate the new 1V[eM- dian theater (now the Pix) shortly after it w, as buiR by Peter Hanson, father of ROy Hanson, ,and operated it through the thirties.
