A car stereo was taken from a vehicle. A vehicle prowl was reported on the 700 block of West First Street. Third-degree theft was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. A backpack with textbooks was taken from a vehicle. Possession of controlled substance/marijuana plants was reported on the 800 block of Sixth Street. A vehicle prowl was reported on the 700 block of West First Street. Noth- ing was taken. A vehicle prowl was reported for two ve- hicles on the 800 block of West First Street. Third-degree theft was reported on the 700 block of Irene Place. A bicycle was taken. Michael F. A bicyde was taken. May 27 A motor vehicle was taken without the owner's permission on the 1800 block of Summit Drive. A cellphone, MP3 player, and backpack were found on the 1700 block of Seventh Street. Three bicycles, bicycle parts and bolt cutters were found on the 1800 block of First Street. One of the bicycles found was previ- ously reported stolen. A 17-year-old male and two 16-year-old males were arrested for third-degree malicious mischief on the 1700 block of Seventh Street. A 16-year-old female was arrested for pos- session of a controlled substance/marijuana at Cheney High School. Dylan J. Douthitt, 22, was arrested on a local warrant for a failure to ap- pear on third-degree mali- cious mischief/domestic violence and third-degree theft charges. Second-degree theft, unauthorized use of a debit card, was reported on the 2800 block of Eton Lane. May 28 Third-degree theft was reported on the 1000 block of Third Street. A bicycle was stolen. Suspiodumstc- es were reported on the SECTION 2 1600 block of Third Street. It began as a possible assault, but was subsequently deter- mined to be a dispute. Third-degree rnalidous mischief was reported on the 200 block of Sixth Street. Someone tipped over a motorcycle. Second-degree burglary was reported on the 1400 block of First Street. Tires and keepsakes from a stor- age unit were taken. Domestic violence/ verbal dispute was re- ported on the 700 block of West First Street. May 29. A cellphone was found on the 600 block of Eton Lane. Troy M. Whyte, 28, was arrested at Cheney Municipal Court on a lo- cal warrant for a failure to appear for a violation of a no contact order. May30 Domestic violence/ verbal dispute was re- ported on the 1300 block of Third Street. Residential burglary was reported on the 800 block of Summit Drive. Third-degree mali- cious mischief was re- ported on the 400 block of B Street. An individual shook up a Coke, opened it and threw it into a car. Third-degree malidous mimhief was mtxed on the 100 block of North Seventh Street. There was damage to the lawns in a dry park. Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. A bicyde was taken. Mitchell A. Urlacher, 23, was arrested for a nui- sance code violation/loud party on the zero hundred block of Erie Street. An armed robbery was reported on the 2400 block of First Street. Upon enter- ing the business around 9:20 p.m., the suspect ordered everyone to the back of the store at gunpoint and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. A Spokane County K9 unit assisted Cheney police in the search, but the suspect remains at large. Police describe the subject as a white male, 5- foot-7-inches tall, about 170 potmds with light, possibly blond hair wearing all dark doth00: g. Joshua W. Harwager, 23, and Blair M. Bomber, 24, were arrested for a nuisance code violation/loud party on the 100 block of Alki Street. May31 Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of First Street. A cellphone was taken. Second-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of Alki Street. A laptop was tak- en from a vehicle. A mental health issue was reported on the 300 block of Erie Street. Third-degree rnalicious mischief was reported on the 600block of Washington Street. Graffiti was found. Joseph M. Wilcott, 32, was arrested for fourth- degree assault/domestic violence on the 2200 block of First Street. June 1 A bicycle was found on the 1000 block of West First Street. MEDICAL LAKE May 26 A suicidal subject was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street. Incidents of residential burglary and vehicle theft were reported on the 900 block of East Lake Street. Suspect broke into the residence, took a set of keys and stole a van. AIRWAY HEIGHTS May27 Aimee K. Tippett, 34, was arrested on the 700 block of Beeman Street for fourth-degree as- sault/domestic violence. Sandra K. Dixon, 52, was arrested on the 13500 block of West Sixth Av- enue for fourth-degree as- sault/ domestic violence. A traffic accident with damages was reported at Campbell Street and Fifth Avenue. A juvenile was ar- rested on the 700 block of South Ziegler Street for fourth-degree assault/do- mestic violence. A traffic accident with damages was reported on the 1300 block of South Ziegler Street. May 28 Reynaldo L. Rodri- guez, 32, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for pos- session of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance/ methamphetamine. Daniel E. Brock, 20, was arrested at 13th Av- enue and Lawson Street for fourth-degree assault/ domestic violence. A traffic accident with damages was reported on the 10500 block of West Highway 2. Candace M. Ellis, 45, was arrested on the 1400 block of South Albert Street on a warrant for third-degree theft. May29 Ajuvenile runaway was reported on the 1000 block of South West Drive. Christine T. Burrell, 40, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hay- ford Road for second- degree burglary/com- mercial and third-degree theft/shoplifting.
