United Church of Christ Pastor David Kruger- Duncan will preside at ser- vices at the United Church of Christ (UCC) on Sun- day, Oct. 25. Pleasejoinus at 10 a.m. for his message. A coffee hour will follow in the fellowship hall. A social-wellness walk- ing group meets each Thurs- day at 9 a.m. at the church. All walking levels/paces are welcome. Participants are enjoying the exercise and fellowship. Men's breakfast is sched- uled for Sunday, Oct. 25, at 7:45 a.m. at the Cheney Care Center Sessions din- ing room. Join the lunch bunch at noon on Thursday, Nov. 12 at the church. Bring a potluck dish to share. Everyone is welcome at all UCC activities. Mark your calendar for the annual UCC bazaar including a hot soup lunch scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. You can enjoy out- standing items for Sale and a celebrated hot soup lunch prepared by loving hands. Several Cheney churches have bazaars on the same day. Be sure to schedule lunch at UCC as part ofyour Christmas shopping trip. United Methodist Church Join us for worship each Sunday morning at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church. This week the Rev. Alissa Bertsch-Johnson will continue a sermon based on "The Five Marks of a Meth- odist: The Fruit of a Living Faith." This week's mark is "A Methodist Rejoices in God." At noon there will be a special organ concert featuring selections from Phantom of the Opera and works by Bach. Our organ- ist, Taylor Giese, will be presenting this Halloween concert.
