Approximately 125 lights have been turned off, most of these being on First and Elm streets, and in the downtown area. In selecting• lighting to be re- duced, care was taken to insure that public safety would not be ad- versity affected. After the first of the year, some of the lights will be turned back on. However, it is expected that many of the lights will be left off as a permanent money-saving measure. Campus pastor named Pastor Elfers, wtm came to Cheney with his wife this past August. "We are enjoying working with college-age adults. They are a special group with special needs. God has created each one,of them, and because of that they belong to ttim. When we realize that and see how much God loves us, then we must turn away from living for ourselves and surrender to God. We can only develop a living relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. We then can begin to live the real live that God so desires us to live," he added. Kampus Sonshine Bibles studies are held on Tuesday evenings in Lounge B in the PUB at 7 p.m. All college-age people are welcome. 410 First Cheney EDDY'S Boot b Tack Kampus Sonshine Ministries basic- ally does what its name implies.
